After making history as the first person to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, more than one year later Sandra Lindsay reflects on her experience and shares some career advice for anyone looking toward the next chapter of their career journey. In addition to the tabling, Janet is excited about the BERG’s week-long giveaway, giving employees a chance to win Lunar New Year baskets and Northwell swag. Performs variety of other clerical functions such as filing of paper medical records, processing insurance forms, preparing financial records, photocopying, answering phones, and assuring efficient flow of patients through the suite, etc. 4-7 years of technical experience and 0-2 years of leadership / management experience, required. Demonstrates sensitivity to ethical, cultural, and spiritual inclusion; engages in ethical decision-making; effectively facilitates group processes; follows regulatory requirements for health reporting. Performs the functions of an educator, facilitator, change agent, leader, consultant and researcher in area of expertise. Participates in the development, implementation and evaluation of orientation programs.

First-time marathoner Michael Goldberg, executive director of Long Island Jewish Medical Center, shared with us what inspired him to take up the challenge of giving back.
